\JDue to an oversight, there is a slight bug in the documentation you
received for the recent SAIL system.  The file TELLEM (i.e., the instructions
for putting up a new SAIL system) omitted the file RECSER from the
command lines for the assembly of RUNTIM.REL, LOWER.REL, and UPPER.REL
(the latter two being used in producing a shared upper segment).  This
file should be included after ARYSER.  Thus, the correct command lines
would be:

RUNTIM←HEAD,GOGOL,TRIGS,STRSER,IOSER,ARYSER,RECSER,NWORLD,LEPRUN,
	 WRDGET,SPARES

LOWER←HEAD,LOW,GOGOL,STRSER,IOSER,ARYSER,RECSER,NWORLD

and

UPPER←HEAD,UP,ORDER,GOGOL,STRSER,IOSER,ARYSER,RECSER,NWORLD,LEPRUN,
	 WRDGET,SPARES

The binary files RUNTIM.REL & LIBSA8.REL on the distribution tape are
correct, as nearly as is known.

One final caution: LINK10 has given some
difficulties when loading the compiler (SAIL.REL) with LIBSA8 in library
search mode (the symptom is an ill mem ref from the compiler during
string garbage collection). 
If you should have problems, try using LOADER before doing anything
else.\.
